Terms of Service
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These Terms govern your use of VivaDub — the browser extension and website that provide live speech translation and dubbing. By installing or using VivaDub, you agree to these Terms.
The service
VivaDub is a Chrome extension (and compatible Chromium browsers) that captures audio from a browser tab, recognizes speech, translates it, and can play a dubbed voice with optional subtitles. Features may change as we improve the product.
Account
Paid limits and the free allowance are tied to a Google account sign-in. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to the email we use for notices. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Free and paid usage
New accounts receive a one-time free allowance of 10 translation minutes. Paid plans add a monthly minute quota shown at checkout and on the site. Unused free minutes do not renew. Paid quotas reset each billing period unless we state otherwise. We may enforce rate limits or suspend abuse.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through third-party payment providers. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Prices and taxes are shown before you pay. Details of refunds and cancellations are in the Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You must not: use VivaDub unlawfully; infringe others’ rights; reverse-engineer or bypass limits; overload or disrupt the service; or resell access without our written permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
AI output and latency
Recognition, translation, and voice-over are automated and may be inaccurate or delayed (often a few seconds). VivaDub is not for emergency or safety-critical use. You are responsible for how you rely on the output.
Intellectual property
VivaDub software, branding, and related materials belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for its intended purpose. You keep rights to content you lawfully process with the service; you grant us and our processors permission to process audio and text solely to provide the features you use.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for VivaDub in the three months before the claim (or USD 10 if you paid nothing).
Suspension and termination
You may stop using VivaDub at any time and cancel a paid subscription under the Refund Policy. We may suspend or end access for Terms violations, legal requirements, or to protect the service.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Belarus. The seller is the individual entrepreneur named on the Legal details page. Mandatory consumer protections in your country may still apply.
